Natasa Demetriou is a senior
associate lawyer in the litigation department. She graduated from the
University of Cyprus in 2012 having obtained an LLB degree. Natasa joined us in
2012 as a trainee lawyer and in 2013 after successfully completing the Cyprus
Bar examinations, she became member of the Cyprus Bar Association and has been a
practising lawyer in the litigation department since then.
Natasa handles a
wide range of litigation cases, involving, indicatively, Negligence, Employment
Law, Criminal Law, and participates in court hearings before first instance
courts and the Supreme Court. Natasa also deals with Commercial Disputes often
pertaining to complex commercial relations, and achieves many out-of-court
settlements to the interest of her clients.
Natasa extensively engages with
Administrative Law, where she pursues administrative appeals to public
authorities and leads court hearings before the Administrative Court. Her
expertise in Administrative Law is evinced by her high success rate in these
administrative cases.
Natasa also handles Road Traffic
Accidents claims and manages to successfully negotiate and reach out-of-court
settlement in favour of her clients. She has been the advisor of a large,
domestic insurance company.
Natasa is the primary legal advisor
of a local authority, preparing opinions on the authority’s diverse legal
affairs and representing them in cases before court. She has advised the Trade
Union of a local University, offering consistent legal support by providing
them with legal reports and presentations informing and guiding them in
relation to their legal rights and interests.
Natasa also drafts agreements, such
as tenancy agreements, sale purchase agreements, employment contracts, loan
agreements and legal reports.
Natasa speaks fluently Greek and
English.
